Since starting our digitisation efforts in the fall of 2022 we have scanned materials for the Clara Thomas Archives & Special Collections at York University, The Arquives: Canada's LGBTQ2+ Archives, the Black Community Mixtapes with Oya Media Group, and independent researchers and artists including Debbie Ebanks, Franci Duran and Philip Hoffman.
We continue adding to our formats on a case-by-case basis. CineMobilia also has film and video projectors, and video production cameras and sound recording equipment to conduct interviews and record live events.

- Q: I have some materials that I think may be culturally significant. Can I give them to CineMobilia?
- A: We do not accept materials from individuals. Please contact the relevant cultural organisation associated with your materials and they will get in touch with us.
- Q:What formats can you digitse?
- A:These are our currently supported formats, and we continue to add formats as needed:
- Analog formats: 8mm, Super8, 16mm.
- Digital formats: 1" Type C open reel tape, U-Matic, VHS, BetacamSP, Hi8, Digital 8, miniDV.

CineMobilia’s original research will consist of excavating a work’s context and media. We work with archivists, communities, and artists to train HQP, graduate students, community partners, and artists.
