The ArQuives is very happy to continue partnering with A/CA to digitize some of our older holdings with the CineMobilia team! The archivists at The ArQuives have been making selections of A/V that are higher priority for digitization based on user requests, creator, format, and age. We are so happy to be able to preserve more of our A/V and make it digitally accessible.
The ArQuives aspires to be a significant resource and catalyst for those who strive for a future world where LGBTQ2+ people are accepted, valued, and celebrated. The ArQuives was established in 1973 to aid in the recovery and preservation of our histories. We acquire, preserve, organize, and give public access to information and materials in any medium, by and about LGBTQ2+ people, primarily produced in or concerning Canada. We also maintain a research library, international research files, and an international collection of LGBTQ2+ periodicals.
